iPhail

Dear readers (haha like there are any of you out there),
Sorry for not writing in a while. Here are some thoughts on why I dislike the iPhone 3G. Maybe it's the 3.1 OS, maybe it's just Apple software but at least twice a day my phone freezes. At least one a week I have to soft reset it. Additionally, there is no 'Export contacts to SIM'. Everyone phone I have owned since about the year 2003 when I was in High School has had this feature. Sure I could use mobileMe, but I have no desire to give Apple my credit card information just so I can sync my contacts. I could also export them to a CSV and then import them to any number of programs like Gmail, Outlook, etc., but why should I have to go through that when switching phones? Apple my have the UI down, but their UX is terrible. With the way Apple's ego is growing, I would not be surprised to see a growing Apple backlash as happened with MSFT in the mid to late 1990's.

That is all.

All writings and opinions expressed here are representative of my own (often ill-informed) ideas of the world. I am alas, a computer science major so my grammer and spelling are a bit lacking.
